I bought this grinder based on the great internet reviews, and man am I glad I did!
It is incredibly quiet! I had a breville grinder and I’ve heard commercial grinders in coffee shops… nothing can prepare you for how quiet this thing is compared to other grinders! My wife doesn’t wake up when I’m making the coffee anymore.
The next thing I’m amazed by is the minimal retention. If you put in 20g of beans, you’ll get within 0.2g of that out!
It means you can measure the beans you throw in and swop coffee beans more regularly! I now have five different bags of coffee open and switch between them as I see fit!
Last thing I was blown away by is the accuracy of the timer and the grind settings. The reliability of these settings means once You have dialed in the grinder using a scale and shot timer; you can rely on its accuracy to give you the same shot every time afterwards.
The grinder is relatively compact and well made. It fits under the counter top cupboards. Standing next to the Rocket Appartamento- the grinder and coffee machine look like they were meant to work together. A very good looking combination.
This grinder had really blown me away with its quality and it’s consistency. It’s not cheap, but you definitely get what you are paying for, and more.
