Servicing your own E61 group head is quick and easy.
Over time this gasket will start to become brittle and water will leak over the top of your portafilter when you are pulling a shot.
These soft silicone rubber group seals are ideal for upgrading the black rubber seals within the standard machine. They provide a much longer useful life (though it’s still a good idea to change them approximately annually) and remain soft and pliable throughout their lifetime – resulting in a positive and progressive locking in of the portafilter.
