The Palm Tamper creates a perfectly flat tamp surface every time, therefore creating a consistent puck density.
With it’s height adjustable collar you can adjust your tamp depth so that you tamp perfectly for your desired coffee dose.

Simply place over your distributed coffee in your portafilter and press down to your preset depth to tamp.
Use the Palm Tamper in conjunction with the Palm Distributor which distributes coffee evenly before you tamp – when baristas even the puck using their finger some leave a slight mound or divot in the coffee, which means they tamp down inconsistencies in the puck density.

Throw away your old tamper. Its level everytime – should be called the LEVEL tamper. Getting the palm distributor once I’m conviced it will make a difference.

The tamper works well. My tamp is level every time. Also always has the same pressure every tamp. Its a good idea.
