Why 57.35 ?

With normal 57mm tampers and even 57.30mm tampers there is still space between the tamper and the edge of the basket, meaning not all your coffee gets tamped.

Lelit takes precision to the max with the 57.35mm Lelit Tamper ensuring all your grinds are tamped evenly.

Why the grooves ?

In addition grooves are etched into the side of the base to create an airflow which helps to avoid a suction when removing the tamper from the portafilter.
