This exceptional tamper handle with its integrated precision release mechanism allows you to reliably set and control the maximum pressure you want for optimal results each time.

Our meticulous engineered pressure limiter can be calibrated within a range of 8 kg to 21 kg (18 lbs to 46 lbs) by adjusting the central screw inside the handle’s core. The dynamometric tamper will automatically trigger a click-release once the selected pressure is reached.

The handle with its screw-on cap consists of aluminum, the pressure-sensitive mechanism inside is manufactured with stainless steel.

This tamper handle comes with an option of the following tamper bases :

• flat base
• convex base
• knock flat base
• knock convex base

What is a “knock” base ? – The “knock” bases feature a black silicone ring which enables you to gently tap it against the side of the portafilter to shake the coffee grounds trapped on the sides of the filter basket back into the basket after your first tamp. This enables a second tamp to tamp all the coffee grounds uniformly.

This “knock” ring will ensure that your portafilter and tamper will remain undamaged.
